Anteaters, jaguars, trumpeters, and more!
Our students captured some amazing wildlife when they placed their camera traps at the Rio Bigal Biological Reserve during the Wildlands Studies Ecuador Program. See firsthand what our students experience on a Wildlands Studies field program by watching the videos below! We offer Field Study Scholarships to students that plan to join us on the Ecuador Program. The deadline to apply is December 1, 2022. Learn more on our Scholarship webpage.
The video above was recorded using motion-activated cameras, also known as "camera trapping" which allows us to study wildlife in difficult-to-access natural habitats by observing animal behavior, monitoring the population, and understanding fauna-flora species interaction.
Join an upcoming Student Information Session to learn about our exciting field research opportunities worldwide.
