Cal State LA received a grant from the National Institutes of Health to provide students with opportunities to participate in biomedical research. WordsUncaged, a collective of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated men and women and their families, will host an art exhibition on Saturday, March 4, at Azadeh Shladovsky Studio. Cal State LA representatives spoke to youth at West Angeles Church of God in Christ and St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church as part of CSU Super Sunday. For the 18th annual event on Feb. 26, the CSU and campuses across the state partnered with nearly 100 predominantly Black churches across California to share a message for future students: You belong at the CSU.
