In our efforts to ensure that California's youth experiencing homelessness, youth homelessness service providers, and allies are provided the resources needed to survive during these unprecedented times, we are sharing this alert from the California's Children's Trust. Earlier this year, the state Department of Healthcare Services convened the CalAIM process to launch a redesign of the state's Medi-Cal program.

The California Children's Trust engaged with CalAIM from the start, publishing regular analysis and a series of letters making recommendations. Read the CalAIM letters by clicking on this link .

While the implementation phase of CalAIM has been delayed due to the current pandemic and its economic impacts, many of its solutions can be implemented now, under existing authority.
