The California Coastal Coalition (CalCoast™) publishes  The CalCoast™ WAVE  weekly without charge to readers around the world. We have been publishing a weekly e-newsletter since 1997 and we now reach more than 3,200 readers. Each edition of  The CalCoast™ WAVE  includes important news articles and op-eds, as well as announcements about grants, fellowships, conferences, meetings, and employment opportunities. The last day for any bill in the California Legislature to be passed during the current session is this Friday, September 13.  Bills that pass will move to the Governor's office, where Governor Gavin Newsom will have until October 13 to act upon them. We will post a legislative update in the coming weeks.
