CalDesal Funding Alert

Dear CalDesal Members,

The Department of Water Resources ( DWR ) has released a draft of the WATER DESALINATION GRANT PROGRAM!!
This is one of CalDesal's top priorities and CalDesal has been working with the State to release the $100 Million set aside for desalination in the Proposition 1 Water Bond measure passed in 2014.
After many years of working to get DWR to provide a grant program for these funds, recently DWR announced the release of it's Public Review Draft of the Water Desalination grant program.
They will hold workshops and look for input - with Comments due 5:00 pm on May 12th 2017.
CalDesal will participate and work with our members to provide beneficial comments to the State on this Program.  This is more good news for desalination in California.
