Discontinuation of the Cal-EEM + Grant Loan Program

Effective November 4, 2019, the Cal-EEM + Grant Loan Program will be discontinued and the additional 4% EEM Grant will no longer be offered. All Cal-EEM + Grant Program loans must be reserved and rate locked by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2019. There will be no exceptions.

Borrower may continue to use FHA’s Energy Efficient Mortgage (EEM) with either the CalHFA FHA or CalPLUS FHA loan programs.
