On June 17, the Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board adopted revisions to the COVID-19 Prevention Emergency Temporary Standards that account for recent guidance from the California Department of Public Health based on increases in the number of people vaccinated.

As of June 13, OC Bus restored bus service to about 74% of what it was prior to the pandemic. Face masks must continue to be worn while waiting for and riding OC Bus and all other public transit. For more information click here.

Enhancing school-based interpretation and translation services will be the topic of a month-long virtual conference hosted by OCDE’s Educational Services division. The conference will begin September 8 and will continue through October 2. The fifth annual Interpreters and Translators Conference will feature 20 live, one-hour sessions on Thursdays and Fridays for four weeks, covering such topics as remote interpreting, cultural challenges, technology, best practices for translations and more. Educators, parents and community members are encouraged to register in advance.

The Older Adult Mental Health Training for Professionals is brought to you by the Be Well Orange County Older Adult Workgroup and the Orange County Aging Services Collaborative. The virtual training will take place on July 30 from 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. here to register.
