CalOptima and the OC Health Care Agency are partnering to host vaccine clinics for kids and the community with support from community partners. CalOptima invites children ages 5–11 years old to get vaccinated and stay safe at home and school. All others age 12 and over who are unvaccinated are encouraged to attend the clinics as well.

Vaccines Available: Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson (1st, 2nd, 3rd doses and boosters)

To register, members can call the OC COVID-19 Hotline at 1-714-834-2000 or use www.othena.com and select the appropriate vaccination site. Transportation for CalOptima Medi-Cal members can be arranged by calling CalOptima at 1-888-587-8088. Vaccine event flyers are available in English, Spanish and Vietnamese.

The Food and Drug Administration gave the Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Emergency Use Authorization for prevention of COVID infection for children ages 5–15 years old.

CalOptima Customer Service remains ready to respond to member needs as we adhere to guidelines to reduce the possibility of COVID-19 transmission. Our building is closed to visitors. Members can call Customer Service from the safety of their home, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
