Governor Outlines Six Critical Indicators Before
Modifying Stay-at-Home Order 
Governor Gavin Newsom outlined six critical indicators California will consider before modifying the stay-at-home-order and other COVID-19 interventions.

Enrolling for Public Assistance Benefits
The county Social Services Agency public assistance offices are closed to the public. Individuals and families who want to enroll for benefits can apply by phone, fax or online.

Emergency CalFresh Allotment
During COVID-19 Pandemic
Current CalFresh clients may be eligible to receive additional CalFresh benefits during the COVID-19 pandemic. For details about the Emergency CalFresh Allotment as well as changes to clients' redetermination/reassessment timelines, please click  here .

If you currently receive CalFresh, CalWorks and/or General Relief and/or
Medi-Cal, your benefits will continue at the same level for March, April, May and June 2020. You do not need to call SSA as your benefits will continue without interruption.
Information Regarding Eligibility for Child Care Reimbursement During COVID-19
Essential workers may be eligible for childcare reimbursement during the
COVID-19 pandemic. Visit the Children’s Home Society of California online at www.chs-ca.org to find eligibility information and learn about subsidized emergency child care. To be placed on the list for subsidized services a Child Care Eligibility List Questionnaire needs to be submitted.
