CalOptima Health utilizes Change HealthCare to support the creation, printing and mailing of hard copy remittance advice (RA) for our providers receiving paper check payments. Currently, due to the recent cyberattack with this provider, we are unable to continue routine processing until Change Healthcare remediates the effects. While we continue to ensure providers are paid regularly, CalOptima Health is working diligently on providing an alternative solution to Change HealthCare in printing and mailing RAs. Please be assured that we remain in close communication with Change Healthcare and are closely monitoring developments.
We encourage our providers to utilize electronic payments through the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) provider, InstaMed, with these directions to establish an account to allow direct deposit to your designated bank account. In addition, providers can access their RA directly through the InstaMed portal once EFT payments begin.
Providers receiving manual checks are encouraged to set up access to our Provider Portal to review the claims associated with the payments issued. These instructions will guide you on how to search for the claims using the information found on the top of the check.
