Many of you enjoyed the Faith Walk Devotional written by Dan Moulton and distributed at Lakeside in 2020. We hope these devotionals will become an annual offering at Lakeside Chautauqua and would like the 2021 Faith Walk Devotional to contain contributions from Lakesiders. If you would like to write a devotional for consideration by the Religious Life Advisory Team, please reference the following guidelines:
- Content must relate to faith nurturing (divisive, judgmental, and excessively doctrinal submissions will not be considered).
- Memories, stories, reflections, quotes, and prayers are all acceptable. Reflections tied to Lakeside are particularly encouraged.
Devotions must be assigned to a Thin Spot - walkable, public location within Lakeside Chautauqua (the location can be the same or different from those in the 2020 edition).
- Between 200 and 300 words maximum.
If your Thin Spot is not a well-known Lakeside location, please provide a photo of the location.
- Submissions will be chosen by members of the Religious Life Advisory Team.
The Faith Walk Devotional is a Lakeside Chautauqua community activity. Authors will be credited (unless anonymity is requested), but no compensation will be offered. Submissions should be offered without cost or claims or copyright.
Submission deadline is March 1, 2021.
