November 4-11, the Calhoun County buildings will display green lights for veterans. The National Association of Counties organizes this week to support military veterans and families. At the County Building in Marshall, the Veterans Memorial that was moved to the courtyard in front of the public entrance displays an American flag, granite bench, and plaques of each branch of service to honor veterans throughout the year.

Red Ribbon Week for Drug Prevention

At the November 7th meeting, Calhoun County Board of Commissioners will recognize Red Ribbon Week, October 23-31, 2024, as a dedicated time to promote drug prevention within our community. Together, we are committed to keeping our local youth safe, healthy, and drug-free through ongoing education and support.

Still Time for Early In-person Voting

Tuesday is Election Day! You can still vote at your Early In-person Voting Site through Sunday, November 3. If you have an absentee ballot, place it into the tabulator at the site. Make sure you’re registered to vote, check out a sample ballot, and then find out where your Early In-Person Voting Site is on Michigan's voter website.
