Chemical-proof Pens

Chemical Proof Pens

Chemical-proof pens resist chemical change or degradation. The ink stays put and will not smudge or bleed once dried. Because of the ink’s stability, these pens are excellent options for document signing. Another name for chemical-proof pens are solvent-resistant pens.

Here's a list of pens we have in stock that are chemical-proof.

  • Micron Pens: permanent fade-resistant pen
  • Variety of sizes of Black or Color inks sold separately or in sets
  • Plastic nibs sold in sets
  • Gelly Roll Gel Pens: archival pigment gel ink in a rollerball pen
  • Classic, Metallic, Moonlight, and Stardust
  • Signo Gel Impact Pens: acid-free gel pens
  • White, Black, Gold, Silver, Metallic Blue and Metallic Red
Nori Paste

Nori Paste

Nori is non-toxic, slow drying, dries clear and washes off hands and clothing easily. Water and cornstarch are the main ingredients creating a smooth and strong paste.

Let's highlight two key features:

  • Slow drying properties
  • Water-soluble/reversible

Its slow drying characteristic gives the artist more time to create. Use Nori on paper, bookbinding materials, scrap booking, and collage. After the paste has dried, the artist still can reposition pieces. A little water reverses the bond.
