The California Mortgage Relief Program’s one-time federal COVID-relief funds are running low and homeowners are encouraged to apply for assistance while funds are still available.
Funded through the federal American Rescue Plan Act, the California Mortgage Relief Program launched at the height of the global pandemic. Since late 2021, the California Mortgage Relief Program has helped low- and moderate-income homeowners from diverse backgrounds stay in their homes and preserve their home equity. 75% of all grants awarded went to households that were at or below the average Area Median Income (AMI) for the counties they live in, and over 50% of grants went to socially disadvantaged households.
The California Mortgage Relief Program has served as a model for similar programs across the country. More than 33,000 grants have been awarded to households throughout the state and our team is committed to providing assistance and information to homeowners for the duration of the program.
If you would like more information about the program or want to learn more about how to apply for assistance, please visit the The California Mortgage Relief Program website or call our Contact Center at (888) 840-2594 Monday through Friday between 8 AM - 6 PM PT.
