Passing of Dr. Robert Freedman
We are sad to inform you of the passing of Dr. Robert Freedman on May 12th. He was a tireless advocate for pathology. He was the chair of the California delegation to CAP House of Delegates and has served as Board member and President of the California Society of Pathologists. In addition, he served on the Board of the CAP Foundation.

A graveside service will take place this Friday, May 14, at 11:30 am at:
Skylawn Memorial Park
Hwy 92 at CA-35
San Mateo, CA 94402
 
You are invited to attend the funeral either in person or by Zoom. Those who wish to attend in person, should meet in one of the first two parking lots upon entering Skylawn Memorial Park (near the main building) and will be escorted to the graveside from there. Masks and other outdoor Covid precautions will be in effect.

The family will hold a Shiva memorial service on Sunday, May 16th at 1 pm. Those who have memories to share may do so at this time. The Zoom link for the Shiva service is the same as the funeral link.

The family has suggested that donations in his honor can be made to the CAP Foundation. We all share their grief in the death of a wonderful man who will be missed by his colleagues.
