About the Program

A panel of experts will summarize and discuss the raft of artificial intelligence legislation recently signed into law by California Governor Gavin Newsom that will affect the conduct of future election campaigns, the use of digital replicas in the entertainment industry, the creation and distribution of deepfake pornography, and the obligations of platforms that host A.I. content.

This program is presented by the Entertainment Law section, chaired by Randi D. Bandman and and vice-chaired by Keith Kelly and co-sponsored by the Litigation section, chaired by Rachael Kogen.The Entertainment Law section is sponsored by Lawyers' Mutual Insurance Company.

BHBA's programs also meet the CLE eligibility criteria in Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii and New Hampshire. Attorneys must individually apply for credit and, if mandated by the state, submit accreditation fees directly.
