The Planning Association of Washington is excited to announce openings on our Board of Directors. PAW is a grassroots educational organization serving the needs of planning commissioners, elected officials, tribes, special purpose districts, private sector firms, state agencies, students, and interested citizens. Board Members guide the direction of PAW through financial oversight and service on committees such as Conference, Education, and Membership. Time commitments vary based on which committee a member serves on and time of year – the Board meets every other month for about an hour and a half, with a two-day retreat in October and a three-day conference in April. To fill our current vacancies and ensure we have balanced representation, we would prefer applicants from Eastern or Central Washington who work in the public sector/local government but will review all letters of interest we receive. |
