2020 Call for Presentations
Conference Overview:
The 2020 Recreation Facilities Association will be held May 11
th
thru 14th at Tigh-Na-Mara Resort and Conference Centre in Parksville. The Conference Committee is seeking to recruit presenters from our Associates for this annual event which attracts over 135 delegates from throughout British Columbia.
Our Focus:
The Committee is looking for presentations on recreation facilities, programs, services, and projects in the fields of arenas, community centers, arenas, swimming pools, parks and other recreation facilities. Sharing your successes advances our field and builds our communities.
Who Will Attend:
A mix of both rural and urban professionals, volunteers and staff throughout British Columbia including:
· Directors and Managers responsible for parks, recreation and arena budgets, planning and operations
· Recreation Facility Operations staff
· Recreation programmers
· Students and new professionals
· Professionals from allied sectors including, but not limited to: health and wellness, education, Provincial Officials, and inclusion.
Presenters:
This will be a great opportunity for the recreation facilities industry to share their work, successes, challenges and findings.
Deadline for submissions is September 30th, 2019.
