BCDI-Atlanta invites you to submit abstracts for the first edition of Nurture - our new peer-reviewed, electronic journal championing topics important to Black children ages 0-8 and their families. 

Nurture will include high-quality original works based on the six NBCDI focus areas - Public Policy, Early Care and Education, Health and Wellness, Family Engagement, Literacy, and Child Welfare.

In our efforts to support the development of a high-quality, accessible, affordable and aligned system of early care and education for children birth through age 8, BCDI-Atlanta is preparing a 10-day program to Italy for May 2020. We will be focusing on the diverse influencers who have shaped the way we view our education system today, Dr. Maria Montessori and Loris Malaguzzi (Reggio Emilia Approach).
