The 2022 Sir Peter Ustinov Television Scriptwriting Award Competition is Now Open


Each year, the Foundation of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences presents the Sir Peter Ustinov Television Scriptwriting Award. The competition is designed to motivate novice non-US writers under the age of 30 and offer them the recognition and encouragement that might lead to a successful career in television scriptwriting. The 2022 competition is now officially open!

The winning scriptwriter will be flown to New York City and presented with a $2,500USD prize at the International Emmy® World Television Festival. They will also be invited to take part in the red carpet festivities at the 50th International Emmy® Awards. [Provided these events take place]
 
The deadline for submissions is June 29, 2022, at 12noon (ET)
