The Board seat representing District 5 on the Oklahoma Municipal League Board of Directors is up for election this year and will be voted on at the 2023 OML Annual Business Meeting, Thursday, September 21, 2023, which is held during the OML Annual Conference in Oklahoma City. The incumbent, William Joyce, Mayor, city of Stillwater, has expressed his willingness to continue to serve if reelected.
Any municipal official of any of the OML member municipalities listed in this letter that is interested in this position should submit a letter of interest, resume and a resolution from your municipality supporting your nomination to the OML offices, 201 NE 23rd Street, Attention: Nancee Morris or email nancee@oml.org. Deadline is Wednesday, August 9, 2023. A sample resolution is included for your convenience.
