One of the next steps in the agency’s evolution of supports and services is to create a committee to oversee the evaluation of agency initiatives and transformation efforts. The Committee will help to determine whether agency goals are being achieved, what is working and not working, and the reasons why.
About the Evaluation Committee
Purpose:
The Committee will contribute to the development of evaluation strategies and tools, comprehensively analyze data, report findings, and make recommendations to senior leadership. Organizational aspects to be evaluated include:
- Outcomes and satisfaction of people supported and family members
- Alignment of Person Directed Planning processes, goals, and services with the wants, interests, dreams, and goals of people supported
- Engagement and support of employees
- Progress toward organizational transformation goals
Members:
- Include people served, families, direct support professionals/Admin/HR employees (3) and management (3)
- Terms will initially be staggered to one (1) and two (2) years with all subsequent terms being 2 years
- Anniversary date is January 1st, with the first 1-year terms ending December 31, 2023
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Chaired by the Manager, Quality Assurance.
- Participation in meetings can be virtual or in-person (when allowed)
- Meeting schedule will be determined by the committee at its first meeting
- Decisions should be made by consensus
Do you have experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data? Are you curious and organized? Do you know how to communicate ideas and concepts?
