Thank you to our 2018 Summer High School Interns

Felisia Trujillo
South High School
Social Media Intern

As a summer intern at GlobalMindED through DPS Career Connect, I gained valuable work experience and learned about professional opportunities including preparing the 2018 Conference, to producing design materials to creating my personal LinkedIn account. I also created social media infographics to inform people about the next 2019 conference. Not everyone in the world gets the equality they desire, but GlobalMindED focuses on creating change in the professional environment by providing underrepresented populations with the knowledge, skills and abilities to become a leader. I'd like to thank GlobalMindED for giving me this internship and showing me that being Latina will not stop me from creating who I want to be and what I aspire to do throughout my professional career.

Marketing Intern

After participating in the Tech Day of Industry at 2018 GlobalMindED this June, I asked if I could become a summer intern. What I love most about GlobalMindED is the close-knit group of interns and how loving, helping, and accepting everyone is in the office. GlobalMindED has impacted my life by the lessons I have learned, like time management and patience.I am impressed by the work of this organization to help many branches of education locally, all over the nation and throughout the world. GlobalMindED has taught me how to work better with people around me, how to network, and how to be professional in phone calls and talking to others.
