Dear member,

As a valued member of the Texas Association for Environmental Education, you are invited to be part of the TAEE strand at the annual Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching (CAST) presented by the Science Teachers Association of Texas (STAT).

As one of the premier science education events in the country, CAST features hundreds of breakout sessions presented by educators like you. TAEE invites you to turn your innovative teaching strategies and lesson plans in environmental education into proposals for sessions.

Proposals as part of TAEE must be submitted through this unique form by May 15. Note: it is not linked on the STAT website and is not open to the general public, therefore if you have any trouble accessing the unique affiliate form, please contact stat@statweb.org.

While there are still many challenges and unknowns related to the pandemic, the format options still range from a fully in-person conference to a fully virtual conference and everything in between (click here for full statement on CAST 2021).

If you would like to submit a proposal for a session that does not include environmental education, please use this form instead.

While you're at it, consider submitting to the North American Association for Environmental Education conference by May 7. It's a virtual experience in October.

Thank you for promoting environmental literacy!

Sincerely,

Your TAEE Volunteer Board
