We The FMEC has already received over 200 submissions for the 2024 Annual Meeting! But we know many of you would like a little more time to submit your proposal. So we have extended the deadline to submit a proposal to the FMEC 2024 Annual Meeting to Monday, February 12, 2024.


Don’t waste this opportunity – this is a final deadline!


We welcome submissions from faculty/fellows/residents and full-time medical students that address any and all topics related to family medicine, primary care, and the teaching of family medicine. We encourage first-time presenters to submit. For more information on the types of presentations, review the FMEC 2024 Annual Meeting Session Overview.

DEFINITION OF A MEDICAL STUDENT PRESENTER AND SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT: Only current full-time medical students are eligible to attend the FMEC Meeting.


Scholarships are available to some students, and other must register.

Additional information regarding the FMEC’s hotel block and individual registration will be available soon. 


Beginning in 2024, the schedule for the meeting will change in order to eliminate programming on Sunday. Preconferences will occur on Thursday, and the meeting itself will be held all day Friday and Saturday, with no programming or events on Sunday. The meeting will be held at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown Hotel, a central location in downtown Philadelphia and near many exciting attractions.
