The NAACP Image Awards® is recognized as the nation's preeminent multicultural awards show from an African American point of view. The event
celebrates the outstanding achievements and performances of people of color in the
arts as well as those individuals or groups who promote social justice through their
creative endeavors.
Submissions for the 51st NAACP Image Awards
® can be submitted at
www.naacpimageawards.net
in the categories of motion picture, television, recording,
and literature.
The eligibility period for all projects is January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019. In
addition, motion picture category projects (and individual achievements within it) must
have been initially released and distributed in the U.S. with a minimum commercial
theatrical run in Los Angeles or New York for seven (7) consecutive days.
