Greetings:
EnviroCert International, Inc (ECI) is seeking additional volunteers for positions on the following Certification Committees (CC):
-
NGICP - National Green Infrastructure Certification Program. New volunteers will be in addition to existing members.
-
QSM - Qualified Stormwater Manager. New volunteers will be in addition to existing members.
- CPIESC – Certified Professional Installer in Erosion and Sediment Control. This will be a new committee that will require a new chair and vice-chair as well as members.
- CIHECP – Certified Installer of Hydraulic Erosion Control Products. The Steering Committee has completed their efforts, and this will now be a new committee that will require a new chair and vice-chair as well as members.
COMMITTEE REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications for the role will include, but is not limited to:
- ECI active Certified Professionals may apply.
- ECI is looking for a geographically diverse group of individuals with varying thresholds of experience and education. Please include your background information when you apply.
- Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in the respective certification field.
- Ability to manage tasks and work in a team environment with a diverse group.
- Research new or unfamiliar problems.
- Possess good communication skills.
- Experience on regional and national levels are helpful, but not required.
- Able to dedicate about 1 to 2 hours a month as a volunteer.
ECI Certified Professionals who serve on a committee will be awarded PDHs for participating in committee meetings and is generally anticipated to satisfy the annual requirements.
All current ECI Certified Professionals are encouraged to volunteer. Committees are a great way to get involved with ECI professionals in the stormwater community, and earn PDHs.
