Let’s work it, shape it, and lead it — together


We are accepting workshop proposals for Work It Wednesday, a dynamic and collaborative day at the 2026 NASPAA Global Conference in Seattle. This midweek highlight is designed to energize, connect, and mobilize our global community of public service educators, scholars, and practitioners. Workshop details are provided below: 


  • Date: Wednesday, September 30, 2026 
  • Time: 9 am – 12 pm
  • Length: Each workshop will be 2 – 3 hours
  • Deadline for Workshop Proposal Submission: March 6 | 5 pm EST


Work it Wednesday Global Workshop will help kick off the NASPAA Conference with immersive sessions led by international members and thought leaders. We seek workshop proposals that highlight global perspectives, cross-border collaboration, and practical insights that advance public service education worldwide. Workshop proposals will focus on various aspects of public service education, such as innovations in public administration and policy education, cross-border collaboration in curriculum design, equity and inclusion strategies in global governance, doctoral education, global undergraduate education, and faculty well-being. Other workshop topics will be considered. Preferences will be given to workshop proposals that emphasize participant engagement, foster meaningful dialogue, and lead to actionable outcomes.



Workshop proposals should be no more than 1-page and should include the following: 

  • Workshop title 
  • Names of presenter(s), e-mail(s), and institutional affiliation(s) 
  • Workshop description outlining the topic, goals, and relevance to public service education
  • Anticipated takeaways or actionable outcomes for participants
