This year, the Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating the 28
th
Annual Youth Hall of Fame Awards. This great program is sponsored by the Greece Regional Chamber, the regional business community and area schools.
The Youth Hall of Fame Award Program provides a regional opportunity to recognize young people who have demonstrated exceptional personal growth and development through their outstanding achievements and contributions to the community.
We depend almost entirely on nominations from your organizations. It is your observation and initiative that results in individual induction into the Hall of Fame. Being nominated to receive this award carries great meaning to the nominees and their families. Being recognized is a great honor!
To be eligible nominees should be enrolled in 11
th
or 12
th
grade in any regional public, private or parochial school.
As you consider those worthy of nomination, please think of youth who may have exhibited
one or more
of these desirable qualities:
- an exceptional volunteer -or-
- an outstanding employee -or-
- one who has given service to the community or other peers -or-
- one who has coped with a life challenge - physical, social, or mental -or-
- one who has overcome a personal tragedy
Please note that the nomination form requires a release from the parent/guardian before any confidential information is to be submitted to Hall of Fame Committee.
