Did You Know? Facts About the CFAD
Did you know your 19-20 COLA allocation could be determined by your consortium by-laws? See below some facts about determining your member allocation as part of the CFAD process.

The CFAD is due May 2, 2019.

  • If a member voluntarily agrees to reduce their allocation, and the other members are agreeable to that, then you can reduce their allocation below the prior-year amount without cause (“cause” means the three reasons in the education code (84914) for reducing CAEP funds).

Improve CAEP Collaboration Using Google Tools

Hanover Research Report Focuses on Engaging Next Generation of Students
Check out the Hanover Research report titled Best Practices: Engaging the Next Generation of Students. The report "reviews secondary sources on best practices in instructing and offering support services for the current and incoming generation of students. The report focuses on intergenerational learning differences, classroom technology preferences, and student engagement strategies for online and STEM course delivery."



Memo Provides Clarification on Noncredit Courses
Ever wonder how community college noncredit curriculum is approved?  

This California Community Colleges memo provides clarification on noncredit courses and programs that are eligible for state apportionment, to include those eligible for Chancellor’s Office approval as a career development and college preparation (“CDCP”) noncredit certificate program.
