Wind in Their Sails: Death and Resurrection

A documentary by Vincent Casalaina

Hello Vince Casalaina,

It was wonderful to see several of you at my live presentations, where I shared footage from the upcoming documentary while telling the story of these classic boats. Audiences have truly connected with the material—laughing, gasping, and even shedding a tear or two.

I have one new event—listed below.

Why Am I Producing This Documentary?

Since I was twelve and first walked aboard the tall ship Balclutha, I've been fascinated by these classic boats. Wind in Their Sails: Death and Resurrection provides a fascinating look at the Classic Wooden Sailboats that have become such an important part of San Francisco's history and culture. I am excited to be at the helm of this project that will be hosted by legendary yachtsman and America's Cup winner Gary Jobson.
