Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
Compared to our forefathers in this nation 250 year ago, today's "leadership" in this nation, with the exception of the Speaker of the House, fails regularly to employ His Word to protect and heal this nation. Among the "leaders," the battle so far---KEEP PRAYING THAT IT WILL CHANGE---- is of egos and words, a political battle not yet seen and treated as a spiritual battle.
Today an intruder into the President's home in Florida with a rifle and gas canister was shot and killed. This is now the third known attempt on the President's life.
At the same time major, unprecedented weather storms plague this nation. Stormy, violent language also fills the chambers of our leaders, in legislatures, national and local.
Why isn't God's Solution followed? Those of us in this nation who are called by the Lord's Name, jew and gentile, need to call for a day, not just of prayer, but of collective repentance. That was God's Solution given to Solomon 3,000 years ago: " When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence [ which includes moral pestilence] among My people, IF My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:13,14).
The LORD is causing all this shaking so that we will return to Him: " See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, 'Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.' Now this, 'Yet once more,' indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things that cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire." (Hebrews 12: 25-29).
God willing, at National Day of Repentance, for the 14th year in a row on April 30, 2026 we will call for pastors, priests, worship leaders, all in the house of God, all of us believers in the Living God in this nation, to set aside time that day, in prayer closets or in church services, to humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, and repent--- really turn to Him our Creator in a humble, contrite spirit, acknowledging how we have departed from the Godly roots He planted in this nation, birthed by His miracles.
Why April 30? That was the day that George Washington was inaugurated in 1789 and spoke of the "sacred fire of Liberty"; that was also the day Abraham Lincoln in 1863 called for a "national day of humiliation, fasting and prayer" leading to the end of the Civil War thanks to God. It was the day called for by Senator Hatfield, unanimously approved by the Senate in 1973, but never held given Nixon's impeachment; and April 30 always precedes the first Thursday in May, the annual National Day of Prayer, in the same way that repentance precedes revival.
There are at least five major departures from our Covenant with Him, our Godly roots: we have failed to stand 100% behind Israel, His chosen people and His Land; we continue to kill innocents in the womb and through euthanasia; we have chosen idols over Him, such as career, money, family, placing ourselves above Him; we have legalized sexual perversions, denied holy matrimony, and have brought gender confusion to our youth; we have failed in His Ecclesia to preach repentance as a gift, failing to make disciples, failing to bear fruit of the Holy Spirit worthy of repentance. (Matthew 3:8; Matthew 4:17; Acts 2:38; Acts 3:19; Acts 17:30; Acts 20:21; 2 Peter 3:9).
We often use the name of the Lord but fail to follow Him fully: Our Messiah/ Christ speaks to us in Luke 6:46: "Why do you call Me, Lord, Lord, and do not do the things which I say?"
It's up to you and me, notwithstanding our small voices, to speak to our "leaders" and to those in the local house of God in particular, to experience the gift of repentance, to model it, to teach it, and to open all minds and hearts to His Solution.
It's time to CALL ON GOD !! AND DO THE THINGS THAT HE SAYS!
