The PA Senate could vote on a bill with harmful changes to Medicaid
The Pennsylvania Senate could reconvene this afternoon to vote on House Bill 59 that includes proposals that would have life-changing effects on Pennsylvania adults, children, and families.

Some changes include:
  • imposing work requirements on certain medical assistance recipients.
  • charging a Medicaid premium for children with disabilities whose families receive income 1,000 percent above the federal poverty level.
  • cutting transportation.
  • locking Medicaid recipients into their plans.
These changes
have been opposed by advocacy groups across the state.
The time to act is NOW.

  • Ask them to Vote NO to any bill that adds
    Medicaid premiums and
    work requirements.
  • Ask them to Vote NO to the current HB 59.
  • Ask our State Senators to PROTECT coverage so ALL children and adults in Pennsylvania have access to the services they need.
