CALL TO ACTION:
Ask Representatives to Vote NO on Any Expansion of Scope Bills

BACKGROUND: There are several bills that expand scope in the Mississippi House that are in the House Public Health and Human Services committee.
Members of the House Public Health & Human Services Committee need to hear from family physicians immediately, as the committee is meeting right now.
TALKING POINTS:
- Every Mississippian deserves a well-trained physician to manage their medical care.
- Physician training has a direct impact on the depth and quality of patient care.
- This is a public health/public safety concern.
MESSAGE: Vote NO to stop all expansion of scope bills.
- Support a physician-led team approach
- Continue to support the Mississippi Rural Physicians Scholarship Program that puts doctors in rural areas to treat and serve.
- All health care providers are part of the SOLUTION, but are NOT a substitute for physicians.
