OUR DEMANDS OF COMCAST:
1) We demand that Comcast permanently increase Internet Essentials upload speeds from 3 Mbps to 25 Mbps and download speeds from 25 Mbps to 100 Mbps.
2) We demand that Comcast offer Internet Essentials to all students and educators regardless of their current internet plans, and make it free from the time of enrollment until 60 days after the full restoration of school.
3) We demand that all Xfinity hotspots, including those from leased Comcast modems, be free to the public starting now until 60 days after the full restoration of school.

PGCPS is Leading the Way on Reopening Plan
The PGCPS plan was formally approved by the Board of Education at the July 30th meeting. The plan is not final and will be updated every Friday as modifications are necessary. PGCEA Board of Directors and Negotiations Team met last week to review a draft MOU. An MOU is a memorandum of understanding or in lay terms, contract amendments. The draft MOU was submitted to the system to address the changes in our working conditions not covered explicitly by our Negotiated Agreement.
