HEY MUSICIANS,

As you pour your heart and soul into your music, it's easy to overlook the less glamorous aspect of being a musician - like taxes. However, just like hitting the right note, staying on top of you tax responsibilities is crucial for maintaining harmony in your financial life.

Don't let tax obligations be the sour note in your musical journey!

Pay estimated taxes as you go to both the Internal Revenue Service and the Louisiana Department of Revenue.

If you need assistance or have questions about estimated taxes, consider consulting Harmony Street Society. We understand the unique needs of musicians.

Can't Seem to Save Cash for Taxes?

USE A CASH ENVELOPE

The concept is simple. Take an envelope, and place cash in it every time you get paid.

For tax purposes, take about 10% of what you earn each gig and place it in the envelope. Keep it in a safe place until you are ready to make a payment. Deposit it in your bank account and make your payment online.
