Sunnyvale Corn Palace Park Project - Extended

 The City of Sunnyvale has extended the due date for the Corn Palace Park applications to Jan. 27, 2025.

This Request for Qualifications includes 4 artist opportunities (3 backless benches and a seating wall) and is open to all California artists.

The City of Sunnyvale’s Art in Public Places program seeks to commission artists, or artistic teams, to

design and execute original works of art for the new Corn Palace Park. There are four opportunities for

art for this project: three backless artist created benches and a mosaic seating wall.

2025 Placer Community Theater Season

Placer Community Theater is excited to announce the opportunity to direct, produce or stage manage for our 2025 Season offerings. Stipend offered.

Currently planned productions include:

• March 2025: Jeff Daniel’s Pickleball – an ensemble comedy of rivalries and redemption that demonstrates the human spirit and the potential of middle-aged athleticism
• Fall 2025: The 39 Steps by Patrick Barlow – the comedic mystery play-adaptation of the famous Alfred Hitchcock film
• Nov/Dec 2025: A Christmas Carol; Or, The Miser's Warning! by C.Z Barnett – the full-length holiday melodrama that brings this Dickens classic to life!
• Plus, additional stage readings to be announced.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED

Placer Community Theater also wants volunteers: technical assistants for the productions, as well as other crew members, and hospitality leads!
