The Honorable Rae Lynne Chornenky, Esq. of Arizona was elected NFRW President at the 36th Biennial Convention in Kansas City and served from January 2012 to December 2013. Parliamentarian 2024-2026. The first woman elected Chairman of the Maricopa County Republican Party in 2019, then the largest Republican voting county in the country, Chornenky is a proud Arizona native, where she and her husband raised three children. A loyal Arizona State University alum, Chornenky earned a bachelor's degree (graduating magna cum laude), master’s degree in counseling, and juris doctorate. Selected as a Fellow in the ASU Leadership Program, she has practiced law for more than 37 years and currently owns her own corporate business. After serving as an Assistant Arizona Attorney General and designated Assistant United States Attorney prosecuting organized crime and racketeering and tax law crimes, Chornenky retired from the Arizona Superior Court bench in 1995 and went on to serve as legislative attorney for an Arizona cabinet agency, drafting extensive legislation and successfully lobbying State budget issues, laws, and regulatory acts. She appeared in television, radio and print media, as well. She served as adjunct professor of constitutional law, substantive criminal law and evidence. She also has served as NFRW 1st, 2nd and 4th Vice President and NFRW as a speaker on constitutional and Supreme Court topics.
