Hello Chamber Members,
The Callaway Chamber of Commerce will reopen on Wednesday, June 17th with limited admittance while we work through processes to keep the Chamber staff and renters safe while guests are in the building. Our conference rooms will not be available for us for the next few weeks. We appreciate your understanding while we start to reopen.
We realize the
last several weeks have been very trying for the businesses in Callaway County. Through this pandemic, the Chamber staff has actively worked to provide the information needed to our membership about potential programs, financial resources, professional development, grant opportunities and communications necessary to help guide you through this usual time. We hope that you received all of the communications and they were helpful in navigating your business needs. Check out the video below on the things we have done for you and your business.

And special thanks to our
BB GIVEAWAY Sponsor, Central Bank
! Glen Jones was not present at the Business Breakfast so that means our pot is now up to $75!
We do have an update on June's networking events and we want to thank Danuser for hosting the Business After Hours, however, this event will be cancelled for June. Stay tuned for details on August's Business After Hours (there is NO BAH for July). The June Business Breakfast with GoPo Popcorn
HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR JUNE
. If you registered online and paid your $5 or chose invoice, we can refund those funds to you or we hold on account for you until the next inperson Breakfast. Please email Justis with your decision.
If you have had to cancel your Business After Hours or Business Breakfast due to the current pandemic, we are offering a first right of refusal for all businesses for next year. You will be able to reserve the SAME month you have previously reserved for 2021. Please send Justis an email if you wish to reserve for next year.
We want to thank the businesses that are attending our Zoom meetings. We appreciate the comments, concerns, and ideas from our members on what we can provide and what you all need from the Chamber and our team.
Leadership Callaway applications are now being accepted now through July 10th. They are not on our website currently as we are creating the new site, however, they will be included there once the site publishes this summer. If anyone interested in completing the prestigious program for yourself or enroll an employee, please email Justis for a copy of the application. Information sheet for the program is located below with a video created by LCC alumi to detail the program.
And lastly, don't forget about the three events we have coming up next week including the Community Ribbon Tying celebration. Please bring your ribbons and staff to Memorial Park at 10AM on Thursday the 18th. We will have lots of picture taking and social distanced networking! You are more than welcome to bring a mask and we will have a few extras on hand should you need one.
We also have the Community Shred with IMS and the Chamber next Friday the 19th from 12PM to 4PM. They are offering this as a FREE service to the community which is amazing! You can
safely and securely dispose of documents that may contain confidential information. Please note that they cannot accept binders, books, cardboard or magazines. So please bring your items loose-leaf for disposal. They are also giving away prizes for those who stop by with documents so don't forget to spring clean and purge those old files.
And lastly, we are celebrating a great moment during this crazy time we are in. We are celebrating an economic development expansion in Callaway County with Rooster Creek Company! They are building a large storefront in New Bloomfield where they will have more room for classes and inventory. We cannot wait to celebrate with them and we hope you are there to show your support as well! Join us Tuesday, the 16th at 9AM for the groundbreaking ceremony at the new location: 10417 Old US Hwy 54, New Bloomfield, MO 65063!
