Dear Church Family,
We will have a called Church Conference on Sunday, February 4, following worship at 12:20 pm in the Family Life Center. The purpose of this conference is to vote and act on the unanimous recommendation of our Church Council to formally affiliate with the Global Methodist Church.
We had the opportunity to worship with Global Methodist Bishop Scott Jones on December 3 and our Church Council met with him to discuss our relationship. We believe accountability for our clergy and a connection to other churches is important. Rest assured that our properties remain in the name and jurisdiction of Weddington Methodist Church.

Full Professing Members of the church are the voting members of this Church Conference and are encouraged to join us in this milestone as we seek to be the church God is calling us to be.
