As announced on June 23, there will be a called meeting of the presbytery on Tuesday, July 28, at 6:00 pm, via Zoom. The meeting will also serve as a corporate meeting for both the Presbytery of St. Augustine, Inc. and Montgomery Presbyterian Conference Center, Inc. Teaching elders and commissioners will participate through the Zoom platform, which will allow all participants to simultaneously hear one another during the meeting.
Please plan to attend one of the training opportunities described below.
The purpose of the meeting will be for timely business that should be considered before the Fall Stated Meeting to be held on October 6. The agenda (which will be included in a final amendment of this call) will include approval of a revised Presbytery 2020 Operating Budget as well as other timely items.
All Teaching Elders and Commissioners will be required to complete an online registration process by noon on Monday, July 27. The Zoom link will be sent the day before to all those that are registered.
The special rules for the meeting, which will be adopted with the agenda, call for voting members and commissioners to have a Zoom video connection. They also provide a means for seeking recognition, voting, etc.
