NEW IBERIA, La. – A call for authors is announced for "Authors, Artisans and Aromas Fair," a book-selling event on Saturday, April 7, 2018, in conjunction with Books Along the Teche Literary Festival.
The Books Along the Teche Literary Festival will be held in New Iberia from Friday, April 6, through Sunday, April 8, 2018. The fair will feature book sales via tables on New Iberia's Main Street from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Authors are encouraged to apply as soon as possible, and entries will be accepted up to the event date.

Books Along the Teche. Entrants may email, mail or drop off completed applications to Howard Kingston at the bookstore (contact information is on the application). A $20 participation payment will be requested once authors are notified of selection for the book fair. Participating authors will be asked to submit .jpeg files of book covers if the author desires to have the book included on the festival's web site. Lunch is provided on April 7 for participating authors.
The festival is an event of the Iberia Preservation Alliance, formed by Iberia Cultural Resources Association, Bayou Teche Museum, Shadows-on-the-Teche, and New Iberia Main Street Program. The 2018 festival is supported by a grant from the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
