UPPCC is requesting input and participation from the public procurement community for its current
Job Analysis process. A Job Analysis is a comprehensive evaluation of a professional role to identify the
essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) important for competent practice. UPPCC routinely conducts this important project every 5-7 years to ensure that the certification exams and professional practice maintain their alignment.
On
Monday, March 16th, UPPCC will distribute a link to the 2020 Job Analysis survey and invites all public procurement professionals to participate. UPPCC will distribute the survey via email, social media, and on the UPPCC website. Please consider sharing the survey link with your own public procurement contacts, social media, etc. to generate a diverse and high rate of response.
The results will be used to
update the CPPO and CPPB examinations beginning in 2021 and will provide the public procurement profession with valuable insights and information regarding the work performed by practitioners at the buyer and officer levels.
Individuals who complete the survey will be eligible to receive 1 contact hour of certification/recertification credit and entered into a drawing to receive a $250 Amazon gift card for their participation.
The survey will be available through May 1, 2020.
