Join us Saturday, February 28th for the 5th Annual Granbury Jazz Fest and a spirited Texas Independence Celebration honoring the rich history that shaped our state. As you explore the music, festivities, and Historic Square, Visit Granbury will be offering free trolley and tram services, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment of your visit.

The sounds of jazz return to the heart of Granbury! Enjoy the beautiful weather at the 5th Annual Granbury Jazz Festival, a weekend filled with incredible live performances, great food, and unforgettable small-town charm. This event will be held on the Historic Langdon Grounds, Granbury Square Plaza and Hewlett Park.
Whether you’re a longtime jazz lover or simply looking for a fun and lively weekend, the Granbury Jazz Festival brings together world-class musicians, local talent, and a community that knows how to celebrate good music. The main event with three stages of live music playing simultaneously will be Saturday. Read along for associated Jazz Fest "Night Caps" Thursday - Sunday.
All aboard for JazzFest! An open air tram will be available Saturday to transport between Hewlett Park, Langdon Grounds, and the Rucker Street Parking Lot. The Granbury Trolley will run along the one hour lodging route all weekend long. Find your trolley trackers here.

The Texas Independence Celebration is an annual event sponsored by the David Crockett Chapter of the Sons of The Republic of Texas. February 28th beginning at 10AM, enjoy exhibits in the Historic Hood County Courthouse with a presentation at 11 AM.
The 2026 presentation will include information about American Revolutionary War involvement by Spanish Tejas (now known as our Great State of Texas) and how Spain used Tejas resources and cattle from the San Antonio area to support the American colonists fighting the British for their independence.

Broadway on the Brazos presents: Anything Goes
The S. S. American is sailing between New York and England with a comically colorful assemblage of passengers: Reno Sweeney, a popular nightclub singer and former evangelist, her pal Billy Crocker, a lovelorn Wall Street broker who has come aboard to try to win the favor of his beloved Hope Harcourt (who is engaged to another passenger, Sir Evelyn Oakleigh), and a second-rate conman named Moonface Martin, aka “Public Enemy #13”. Song, dance, and farcical antics ensue as Reno and Moonface try to help Billy win the love of his life.

Silver Saddle Saloon Lucky & Anniversary Celebration
Silver Saddle Saloon is celebrating lucky number 7 years of serving the community and visitors of Granbury March 5th-8th. You can't help but take a peak inside when you catch the scent of waffle cone as you stroll down Houston St on the Historic Granbury Square. Silver Saddle is a beloved family friendly (fur babies too) ice cream parlor, live music venue and saloon.

Paddy Fest
In celebration of St. Patricks Day, our Pub McDonough is pulling out all the stops for a two day festival, PaddyFest. Head to the Pub Monday March 16th for live music by Plunk Murphy 5-8pm. On Tuesday March 17th live music will begin at 1pm with KinFolk and The Travelling Murphys 6-9pm.
Admission is $6 for 13 and older, $3 for kiddos 5-12 years old and free for littles 4 and under.
Nearby parking is located all around the Pub itself, including public parking lots at 109 E Ewell St, and N Houston St & E Rucker St.

Take a ride on
the Granbury Trolley!
The Granbury Trolley runs Fridays (4pm-10pm), Saturdays (10am-10pm), and Sundays (11am-5pm) starting at the Visitors Center. The complimentary shuttle stops at hotels, vacation rentals, and other attractions as it loops on the 377-Corridor and through the Historic Downtown Square. It is the perfect transportation mode to experience the historic setting of Granbury!
Hop on for a tour with our History Ambassadors Saturday afternoons at 2:30, 3:30 and 4:30pm. Weather permitting.
