Calling all Volunteers!
Happy Fall, Lakesiders! The seasons are changing, and it is time again to begin preparing for winter's arrival. Please consider joining together at Wesley Lodge on Saturday, November 21 & Saturday, November 28 at 10 a.m. for leaf cleanup and removal. We need volunteers to assist with leaf cleanup and removal at the following common area locations:

  • The Rhein Center
  • Wesley Lodge
  • WoHoMis
  • Hoover Auditorium
  • Bradley Temple
  • Hubbard Pickleball Center
  • Bettinger Park
  • Perry Park
  • Cherry Park
  • Memorial Garden at Chautauqua Park
  • Front portion of the Grindley Aquatic & Wellness Campus
Thank you, volunteers
We want to express our sincerest thanks to the many generous volunteers who have assisted with projects not only during the Chautauqua season but into the fall.

We are especially grateful to Darrell Waite for painting the fountain on the Hotel Lakeside front lawn, and the group who helped scrape and paint the garage at 617 Poplar Ave.

The completion of these projects help improve and maintain the grounds as we head into the winter months. Your dedication and hard work contribute to the success, preservation and improvement of Lakeside. The Lakeside staff and community as a whole are deeply grateful for these efforts and all the efforts of the Volunteer Corps!
Please welcome Melanie Edris!
We are excited to announce that Melanie Edris has returned to Lakeside's team as the Development & Communications Manager. Melanie will be the primary staff contact for the Lakeside Volunteer Corps.

Melanie previously worked at Lakeside as the Conference/Event Planning Coordinator before assuming a role in the development sector at her alma mater, Cedarville University. We are excited to welcome Melanie back to Lakeside not only as a homeowner and longtime Lakesider, but as a valuable new member of our team! To contact Melanie, please email communications@lakesideohio.com or by phone at
