Discipleship: Then & Now | Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM
This 6-week class will explore Jesus’ distinct discipleship model within its historical context. In this class, you will unpack the unique pattern of Jesus’ discipleship model, compare it to the other 1st century models, and discover how it clarifies our call to follow Jesus today. This class will watch and discuss the video series, “In the Dust of the Rabbi,” that brings God’s Word to life with astounding relevance.

Calvary 101 | Sunday, October 2
Newly attending individuals are welcome to stop by the Café
right after the Sunday morning service on October 2nd! Join a pastor for 10 minutes to learn about the church, ask questions, meet people, and get plugged in.

Foundations | Beginning Monday, October 3 from 6:30-8:00 PM
This class, lead by Pastors Matt and Ron, will meet for six weeks to dive deeper into our three Pillars of Discipleship - Growing in Intimacy with God, Developing the Character of Christ, and Joining Jesus in His Mission. In this class, you will learn how to live out each pillar in your everyday life.

Parenting Teens | Begins Sunday, October 16th
6:00 - 7:30 PM
Mary Murphy will be leading a group that will go through the book, "Parenting Teens in a Contrary Culture".
This group will meet for 9 weeks.

Do you find yourself struggling with unforgiveness? Is it weighing you down? Come learn a scripturally based way to free yourself from this burden or to simply learn what God desires for us regarding forgiveness.

Serving Opportunity | Sunday, September 25 from 8 - 10 AM
The Calvary Mission Team is looking for volunteers to help make and serve breakfast at Roseland Christian Ministries on Sunday, September 25th. We will meet at Roseland at 8:00am to begin preparing breakfast to serve at 9:00am. Cleanup to follow. We generally finish around 10:00am. GEMS & Cadets
GEMS encourages our girls to develop a deep relationship with God and one another. They meet the 2nd & 4th Wednesday at 6:30 PM.
Begins September 28.
Cadets is a father-led community that desires to see our boys grow into good, godly men. They meet on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday at 6:30 PM. Begins September 21.

Coffee Break Women's Bible Study
Wednesday, September 21 from 9:30-11 AM. Coffee Break is a Bible study where women discover what the Bible says and means. It’s a small group atmosphere where we can grow in our faith, learn more about what the Bible teaches, and pray for one another. Free childcare is provided. All women are welcome to join us this fall as we study Genesis.

Precept Bible Study
Starting Monday, September 26 from 9:30-11:30 AM. No matter where you are in faith, you shouldn't be alone! Please join us as we study God's Word together in the awesome book of Isaiah and grow closer to Him and each other. Precept is a non-denominational Bible study open to men and women all over the world who desire to know truth and to know God intimately through the Precept in-depth, inductive study method. Free Childcare is provided.

Have you ever wondered what Heaven will be like? What precisely will you do there? How, if any, should it change the way you live today? Then join Pastor Howard for this 10-week class where you will discover ten surprising truths about your eternal home. This class will be a discussion-based class using Dr. Robert Jeffress’s book, A Place Called Heaven.

Our Orland food pantry continues to meet the needs of our community members through physical donations. Please consider contributing with gift cards (Meijer/Jewel/Walmart) so we can purchase food, or by dropping off non-perishable items to the office Mon.—Thurs. 8 AM to 4 PM.
