Because you asked: Appellate Judge Ballot

Based on Appointment not Judicial Rulings

  • Only 1 judge was appointed by a Republican - Anne Albright
  • The other two were appointed by a DEM and would be replaced by a DEM - Lose/Lose scenario

Question 1: About Parental Rights not Abortion

The deceptive "Reproductive Freedom" Amendment is an all-out assault on parental rights

  • State lawmakers testified that the "Reproductive Freedom" Amendment would establish new transgender rights and authorize the government to use taxpayer dollars to fund and promote puberty blocking drugs and surgical mutilation of genitalia - even among children without parental consent.
  • Note below that there is NO age requirement for an "Individual" - even the 2022 Marijuana Ballot initiative was for "adults 21 years of age or older"

Fraternal Order of Police

Lodge 109 (Calvert County)

Endorses:

Goshorn / Marchio / Harrison

Gives Me Hope

Thank you Calvert County FOP for endorsing Board of Education candidates Melissa Goshorn, Joseph Marchio, & Paul Harrison!

All 6 candidates running for BOE were sent questionnaires and given the opportunity to participate in this process. Despite all the issues we’ve had in our schools with drugs & violence against both staff and students, the other candidates chose not to participate. Not surprised considering one candidate has expressed radicalized anti-police views on her recently deleted Twitter account and another believes SROs belong "OUTSIDE" of the school buildings. When people tell you who they are, believe them!

Calvert BOE Candidates Attacked by the Maryland State Democrat Party and the Teachers Union (but I repeat myself)

The Maryland Democratic Party is officially coming after Melissa Goshorn, Joe Marchio and Paul Harrison.

A Super PAC in Maryland has also been established to fight against them. The Maryland Teachers Union has given $60,00 to this Super PAC and an anonymous donation of ~$423,000 was also made.

So much for NON-PARTISAN!

Md. Democratic Party targets 'extreme candidates ' in local school board races - Maryland Matters

The Maryland Democratic Party will spend tens of thousands of dollars targeting school board candidates that it says are looking to bring a "hateful" and "right-wing agenda" to schools.

If supporting Academic Excellence, Safety/Discipline, Fiscal Responsibility, Parental Rights, and Education not Indoctrination makes them "Extreme," so be it. We will let the voters decide.
