Calvert County Republican

Central Committee

Central Committee

Chair Statement:

Gas $1.89, eggs $1.99, mortgages 3%; we know what policies allowed us to take care of our families. We remember when excellence in education and educators lead us to blue ribbon schools that we live/moved here for….our shared values.

Analyzing data, in 2020 there was a surge in polls and then a belief in winning and voters failed to come out thinking we would win. Combine that with people that left in frustration with long lines this amounted to 6% loss of votes. We must have a frame of mind we are in the 4th quarter with 2 minutes to go. Losing isn’t optional. CCRCC has election judges in place, verified cameras are live at drop boxes, and have Board of Election board members to assure our values are maintained. It is time to use our frustration in our economy, our children lives/education, and our values to get to the polls. We take nothing for granted. I believe in this county. Coming from the green mountain boys that started the Revolution, I have lead the fight to represent your values. I’m asking you now to take our values to the polls. Stand tall and walk with confidence knowing it is our time; your time. Thank you for your efforts thus far, it’s now time we finish it. I’ll see you at the polls.

CCRCC Chair - Josh Johnson

Why you need a Sample Ballot

  1. Reminder to Voters that say "I am voting Red" or "All Republican" of the below:
  2. Board of Education is a "non-partisan" race, so you will not see an R or a D next to their names. That is why we are making sure every voter knows who the Republican endorsed candidates are.
  3. Regardless of which district you live in, you can vote for all 3 candidates
Sample Ballot Only

Vote Yes on Appellate Judges

Based on Appointment not Judicial Rulings

  • Better to have the devil you know than the devil you don’t. If we don’t keep the current judges, Wes Moore gets to appoint them. Vote to keep the judges we have.

Question 1: About Parental Rights not Abortion

The deceptive "Reproductive Freedom" Amendment is an all-out assault on parental rights

  • State lawmakers testified that the "Reproductive Freedom" Amendment would establish new transgender rights and authorize the government to use taxpayer dollars to fund and promote puberty blocking drugs and surgical mutilation of genitalia - even among children without parental consent.
  • Note below that there is NO age requirement for an "Individual" - even the 2022 Marijuana Ballot initiative was for "adults 21 years of age or older"

Gives Me Hope

Why So Serious?

  • "The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters," Biden said on a Tuesday call with the get-out-the-vote group Voto Latino.
