Dual Certification Option

Fast track your ACTA qualifications from WDA with our unique DUAL CERTIFICATION. CELTA + Cert IV in TESOL.

Save time and money through Cambridge English Academy :

CELTA (from University of Cambridge)

+ Certificate IV in TESOL(from IH Sydney) and get significant credit towards your ACTA qualification.

For $6598SGD, you can get a dual certification AND get 80% exemption from ACTA modules.

Increase your employability twofold! Only ACTA qualified trainers can teach courses under the SDF/SPUR programmes.

Without Cert IV in TESOL - ACTA module:

6 Modules (15 days and approx $1600).

With the Cert IV in TESOL - ACTA module:

Only do Module 1 (1.5 days and approx $200).

Entry Requirements

Entry requirements for CELTA:

be aged 18 or over

have a standard of English which will enable you to teach at a range of levels.

an equivalent IELTS 7.0 or PTE 80. You don't need to do either test. A final interview with the trainer is mandatory for acceptance.

Steps in registration:

Submit the Application Form and Resume (online) and pay the $100 Application Fee. Fully refundable if you are not accepted.
Based on your application and resume, you will be asked to d do the pre interview written task and possibly, the Oxford Online Test. Please allocate about 2hrs for this.
Based on your pre interview written tasks, you will be invited for a face to face interview. You will be advised within 3 days of the outcome.
A $1000 Securing Fee is payable at this point.
Based on your face to face to interview you will be accepted and a Letter of Offer be given. If you are not accepted, then the Application Fee is refunded to you within 5 working days.You will be advised within 3 working days of the outcome.
The CELTA Precourse task will be given with the Letter of Offer.
