Cambridge Crest of Honor Award Winners
September, 2016
Congratulations to
Ms. Cathryn Olympiadis (left)
- paraprofessional with the CBI program. In the last year this staff member has had a great impact on her student. Her student has grown from hardly acknowledging others, to waving, to now saying "Hi." When her student has success, Ms. Olympiadis' face lights up. Cathryn is the perfect mixture of kindness and firmness, and much of her student's progress is because of Cathryn's efforts. Ms. Olympiadis' student is prepared for her next step thanks to dedicated work and time spent by her paraprofessional.
Congratulations to
Mr. Bryan Wallace (right)
- Social Studies teacher. Mr. Wallace is described as a "constant source of support and inspiration" and a model in his department as being "solution-oriented and positive on a daily basis." He helps other teachers through collaboration, soliciting feedback, and communicating weekly through Friday's "BEAR IN MIND." He shows dedication to his students by providing them with supportive and rigorous preparation for now and beyond high school. His work with colleagues serves as an example of Cambridge's core values.
Ms. Olympiadis and Mr. Bryan Wallace are deserving of this September Crest of Honor
recognition.

Café Serves Farm Fresh Apples
FCS Farm to School Program
For the entire month of October, crisp, farm fresh apples will be served at breakfast and lunch and are part a of Fulton County's School Nutrition Farm to School Program.
These regionally grown apples are heading straight from a North Carolina family farm to our students' breakfast and lunch plate. Because the apples are grown close to home it helps support our regional farmers, and takes less fuel to get them to our café. Not only are these regionally grown apples good for the environment, but are great for your body, being an excellent source of fiber. Try our freshly harvested apples from the school café in October.
